Twenty two days until Fall but who’s counting?! 🍁 For years I’ve gone back and forth between whether Spring or Fall is my favorite season. According to this buzzfeed quiz, I’ve swung back towards Fall! You won’t hear me complain, bring on the pumpkin spice!

August Highlights : Business edition

The big news coming from us this month was the launch of our new podcast!!! You know I love data, here are some cool stats we celebrated this month: the podcast hit #30 on the entrepreneur charts!!! And has already racked in over 3000 downloads! Get the inside scoop on how the name came to be or binge listen to the first 8 episodes out now! We also brought back our student spotlight case studies this month featuring landscape designer Kat Cervoni : When your employees make more than you, it’s a problem!

Two of my favorite podcast reviews so far:

Never Miss an Episode! Follow, Rate & Review!

Most proud moments this month :

Publishing 9 new blog posts and sending out my 7th consecutive Friday email to my email insiders! Yall that hasn’t happened in years!!! I’ve been longing for the chance to create more consistently, and it’s felt so good to be creating in this way again (and serving our community).

Grateful for:

We just closed doors for our Fall enrollment of my signature program, The Blueprint Model. I’m always so grateful to walk through this curriculum with a new group of entrepreneurs (and over 100 alumni joining us again this round!). I am always so honored to be a chosen mentor to entrepreneurs around the world, I do not take that job lightly!

My Favorite Memories:

Given the fact that we’ve lived in Minnesota for the past three summers and had not jumped in a pool in far too long, I intended to fully soak up the hot, humid summer sun ☀️ this year!

Madelyn loves the splash pad and days spent at the pool. We had a farewell to summer neighborhood luau, this dress from H&M was the cutest. We took a trip to Dollywood and saw the bubble show (and yes, they were filming for Dolly’s new CBS Christmas show and I’m still mourning that I *barely* missed seeing Dolly IRL 😹). Cousin birthday party at the bowling alley, cake, and icecream at the farm. Plus a trip to Atlanta to see two of my sweet friends we hadn’t seen in years. We all had babies within a year of each other and this was the first time they had all met!

Madelyn loved her first boat ride and day at the lake. We said goodbye to our beloved summer nanny and wished her good luck in college. Madelyn’s love of books continues to grow, I love listening to her “read”. Her current favorite book. Lots of nightly neighborhood walks and playing outside.

Currently Reading :

Where the Crawdads Sing. I picked this book back up after a few years because the movie was just released. I’m hoping to finish the book before the movie leaves theaters. Reese Witherspoon, yes!

Recent Watch :

Shania Twain, Not Just a Girl. aka the glory days of 90s country music, I’m here for it!

On My Wishlist:

I rediscovered a love of Drew Barrymore after reading Wildflower a couple months ago (ps. I highly recommend the audio version!). Her Cookbook is currently on my wishlist! And this rug for my front porch decor!

When I Need a Laugh :

This Trey Kennedy Video

Around the House:

I love having traditions that mark the coming of a new season. Don’t judge, but yes… yes I do have seasonal pillows!  This one, This One and This one are my recent favorite purchases! Making simple changes to home decor make all the difference in getting my mindset into a new season. Ps. a little pillow hack I learned years ago is to buy cheaper pillow covers and then nicer inserts. These are my favorite decorative pillow inserts from ikea, they make my $20 pillow covers seem much more high end.

First day of Fall Traditions:
